You cannot go wrong with anything you purchase at Desserts by Design. I highly recommend their cakes, which they have a large variety for walk-ins. The pound cake, cupcakes, and specialty cakes are the best. Service (even for busy holidays) is always exceptional.
Love this bakery! We ordered the Chocolate Delight which is a dense and moist chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and we all loved it!! The bakery is in a very nice small town in Audubon. The owner/manager and staff are very nice and helpful. We also ordered a variety of cookies, $14/lb, they're smaller sizes, so delicious that we can't stop eating them, light and crispy melt in your mouth. We also highly recommend their cream cheese bars, blueberry crumb cake. We still have to try their pies and pound cakes.
Stumbled upon this place when a different bakery didn't have the cake I wanted. So happy with this accidental discovery! I got a chocolate fudge cake and an assortment of cookies, and both were a hit at the birthday celebration! High quality ingredients. Freshly baked. Friendly staff. Located in cute downtown. This is where I'm getting all my cakes and cookies in the future!

This spot is a hidden gem. I almost don't want others to know about how good it is. Great spot for cupcakes they have standards and fancy options. The price point is very good considering other spots we've tried . We had the pound cake which was also good lots of delicious chocolate frosting. The owner is often there and working the counter and is nice and friendly ! Super important touch to be so involved. Close to home and a good deal ! You don't have to go to a fancy cupcake shop and lose and arm and a leg they have great Cupcakes for half the price !
